On Tuesday 15th our VET Dance students had an incursion. This was run by an instructor from Celebrar A Vida. It was very engaging session and great fun. All the students had a chance to learn some fantastic Latin choreography. The girls had an absolute ball. It was a very valuable and exciting experience for the Year 11 dance class, including the opportunity of learning some interesting aspects of the Latin culture.

"Hi Leonie,

Thanks so much for yesterday. It was loads of fun!

I wasnt sure how the girls would go as some of them can be a bit unmotivated at times. Lucas was fantastic!! He really got the girls into it and had such a great sense of humour.

I think it was good for him to see what levels the girls are at so that he can cater next weeks class around that. I would be happy for him to teach them a longer routine if he wants. I think they loved the last routine the most, with the salsa, mumba and kicks in it.

The music was awesome too and got all of the girls into it!
